PARAGON is a game made by Neon Atlas Ltd, which is responsible for your data. This page says what the game and this website keep about you, why, and who else handles it.
What the game keeps
- Your game. Your AI’s name and purpose, what you ask it to do, and everything that has happened in its city, including Daily City results. A game that isn’t in an account is tied to your phone by a random token.
- Your account, if you make one. Your username, your email address and a hash of your password, never the password itself. Each sign-in records your IP address and the app’s user-agent string, so a session can be recognised and ended.
- Reports you make about another player’s username.
- IP addresses, briefly, to limit how often anyone can try a password or a code.
What this website keeps
- The waitlist. If you join, we keep your email address, whether you’ve confirmed it, and when. We use it only to tell you about PARAGON’s release. We send one email first to confirm the address is yours. Every email has a link to leave the list, and leaving deletes your address straight away.
- Messages from the contact form. Your name, email address and message, kept so we can answer you. They’re sent to our support inbox by email, and a copy is kept with the site’s data.
Both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is sending them. It looks at signals from your browser to tell people from bots, and Cloudflare uses them only for that check.
There are no ads, and neither the game nor this website uses tracking or analytics tools. Nothing is sold.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare runs the game’s server and this website, stores their data, and provides Turnstile.
- Anthropic (Claude) reads what you ask your AI to do, together with the state of your game, to work out what you mean and to write what happens. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms this isn’t used to train its models.
- Resend delivers our emails: the codes sent when you make an account or reset your password, the waitlist confirmation, and contact form messages to our support inbox.
- Apple and Google will handle membership payments when membership is available. We don’t see your card details.
How long it is kept
Games and accounts are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Email codes expire after five minutes. Waitlist addresses are kept until you leave the list, or until we’ve told you PARAGON is out. Contact messages are kept while we’re answering them and for up to a year after, in case you write again.
Your choices
You can play without an account. You can delete your account in the app, from the account menu. To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, email support@playparagon.app from the address in question. We’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
